AFED Lagos is the Lagos State Chapter of the Association for Formidable Educational Development — a community of school proprietors working together to raise the standard of education for every child, regardless of income.
AFED was founded in 1999 and incorporated as a professional and humanitarian organisation to promote quality, affordable education for children from low-income families. What began as a small network of proprietors has grown into a nationwide association, organised through National, State, Chapter, and Zone leadership.
The Lagos State Chapter carries that same purpose forward locally — bringing school owners together, raising teaching standards, and giving every member school a stronger, united voice.
